Biography
Daria Rybakova was born in Moscow (Russia) 29 years ago. She completed her studies in biotechnology in Berlin, and then chose give her life new esprit from the other side of the Earth – New Zealand. Her spiritual searching lead her back to the roots expressing herself with the unique way of Encaustic painting. This is one of the world’s most ancient painting mediums where hot wax is used to make unique pieces of art by applying it to a suitable surface with an appropriable instrument such as a hot iron. The inspiration of New Zealand, brought to her through Mother Nature, friendly Kiwis and ancient traditions of the Maori people, is reflected in her artwork. Each artwork of Daria Rybakova is genuinely original, individual and unique. Her pictures are always spontaneous, not planned, because they are coming from the heart and not from the mind.
